After coming across this FSU forum, you appear knowledgeable regarding graduate admissions @ FSU and Id sincerely appreciate any guidance you may provide;
Currently a senior @ Princeton and have applied to FSU graduate physics program primarily as a back-up safety school.

Any insight you may provide as to the graduate school culture @ FSU and I am unable to obtain any specific quantitative numbers as to GRE / Physics GRE / GPA scores in order to be competitive. Thanks for your time Carlos New Jersey

As the father of a recent med school grad and father-in-law of a phd student in another department I think you should contact the specific department, in this case physics, for an authoritative answer to your questions.

By all means stress to them that FSU is merely a “back-up safety school” for you. They will be impressed and most appreciative a Princeton (no less - wow!) senior has condescended to spend time reviewing their program.

You might also want to ring up the Director of the Mag Lab and see what his jolly band of derelicts are up to as well.

Grad school is very much department-centric. I unfortunately don’t know much, if anything, helpful towards trying to be accepted into the physics department for grad school.
