Graduate school for an Art Major

Hi!

I’m looking to go to graduate school for art and design. Specifically Parsons or one of the other good names. Maybe business school later but not sure yet.

I transferred to a new school junior year so my GPA was wiped clean (though I know they will look at the old transcript).

My first college:

I had a tough time sophomore year because my best friend in college died leaving everyone in shock. It took a hard hit on my grades with a C and a D- in the same term.

Besides that I have two other C-s that are both in GEs. The rest of my grades my freshman and sophomore year including 2 semesters in summer school were mostly Bs with a few As. My gpa at my first school
My GPA: 3.0 cumulative

New college:
Since transferring I have mostly As, with a cumulative gpa of 3.67. As in all my major classes. I took two gen ed Spanish classes Pass/Fail receiving a pass. I have one current W because I dropped out of a science gen ed 2 weeks into the term because it was adding too much stress.

Currently I’m thinking of pulling out of a physics gen ed getting a W because it’s taking my time into my major classes (its 1 1/2 weeks into the term). I can take my last gen ed term (winter term).

I will be graduating a quarter early before spring term because I’m done with all credits except for that science gen ed I’m thinking of dropping. I’ll probably take some more of major classes just for fun though (I will get As in). Do you think another W will hurt chances for grad school?? Please let me know
