Does anyone know how many graduates of the Naval Academy get paid to go to grad school with full salary and tuition covered? I know that the USCGA has 80% of all graduates get fully paid for grad school and I couldn't find the percentage for the Navy.

If anyone knew, I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks!

Hey Dr. Snipes where can I read info on grad school for the USCGA?

Thanks.

Do you mean right after graduation, or within a few years? I think most get at least a masters after a few years in the fleet, while the ones immediatly following graduation are primarily for rhodes/medical school types and thus there are not very many.

Coastie, if you look in the academy Catalog (that came with the appointment) and go to the interesting facts page or check the education page, it says the statistic, 4/5. I didn't know if it was the highest for the service academies, but considering that about 85% stay in after 5 years that is a hell of alot.

And yes, I meant after graduation, not right out of the academy. Still, I am pretty sure not everyone is paid for with salary and benefits. I am still looking for a percentage, but I would expect it is somewhat similar.
