<p>I want to take an extra semester to graduate and the following year attend grad school. I am a little burned out from school so that's the reason I would like a little more of a gap between graduating and attending grad school. Plus if I wait, I can get in a lot of courses that would look good on my grad school application. Anyways, what are some things I could do during this gap period?</p>
<p>Work. Do you need an extra semester? If not, why spend the money? You don’t say what you want to go to graduate school for, but many grad schools like to see some real world experience, especially the business schools.</p>
<p>I’m double majoring and need an extra semester to complete my classes. I want to get an MS in Biostatistics, and I am currently a Biochemistry/Statistics double major. I have a lot of biochemistry experience in a research lab, but little to none statistics experience other than classes.</p>
