Graduating Early HS?

Okay Im a soph. in Highschool right now, can I apply EA to Harvard junior year if I am graduating early? Does Harvard look down on early HS grads or no, I think my stats are alright. I really think that senior year will be a waste and its just time for more AP classes, and I just want to live life! Oh ya, can I do also ED too junior yr, im also thinking about Cornell.

Harvard does not encourage early high school graduation, but it does admit some early graduates (including my S). Having “alright” stats may not be enough, however, as Harvard may think that another year in high school might make your profile stronger (APS do come into the picture).

When I say alright I mean for a good chance at Harvard.
~ 2350 SAT (predicted, 238 PSAT)
4.0 uw GPA (Rank 1 out of 750)
Founder of pretty big nonprofit organization
1100 hrs + meaningful community service, tons of leadership in that
Officers in all the clubs that I am in (4) Founder of one.
Great letters of Rec, teachers who love me (Didn’t miss a point in one teacher’s AP class).
Also from a (near) billionaire CEO (Harvard Alumni) that is writing how I work amazingly and more determined than many workers in the company itself.
Played piano for ~9 years and won several awards
Really impressive academic awards blah blah blah.

These are fine stats. What about the courses you’ve taken? You can PM them to me if you prefer.

Freshman Year:
hnrs precalc
AP World History (5)
hnrs freshman english
AP Bio (5)
Hrs Spanish 5-6
Wind Ensemble

Soph. Year (now)
AP Calc (5 confident)
AP Chem (5 confident)
AP Spanish (5 confident)
hnrs. soph English
AP US History (5 confident)
adv. accounting

Plan to take all AP, maybe 1 or 2 hnrs net year.

This is an impressive list of courses. If you can fit it in, I’d suggest taking Multi-Variable Calc and Linear Algebra (colleges do like students to take math every year).
If you are indeed on track to do well in all your APs and board scores, then by all means, apply early. I believe that one of the early applicants from my S’s school had stats similar to yours.

There is no more EA for Harvard.

uh. my school offers a higher math than AP Calc and I’m debating to that over AP Stats, cause I really want to take more AP classes, and with AP Stats its easier to manage. Aww no EA? oh well I think I will apply RD then.

AP-Stats would be fine. What would you be interested in majoring in?

Oh ya I have legacy at Harvard, my brother went there. My sister is probably going to get accepted this year (crazy resume, way better than mine)

I’m not even applying at Harvard and you infuriate me.
