What are people's opinions on this??? I have enough AP credits and could push myself a bit to graduate early, but is it worth it socially?? It would end up saving me probably $20,000 but I wonder what experiences I would miss out on. Opinions?

You would probably graduate a semester early at the most so I suppose you wouldn't be missing much.

I agree. By the time you're a senior most of the best college moments already went by.

Graduating Early ... well 20 grand is nothing to sneeze at. You could buy a new car ...or a new horse ... with that money.

Seems to me that if you have the option ... essentially if you have not only filled the requirements, but fulfilled your collegiate aspirations, graduate early and and ride into the sunset!

Instead of grauating early, could you take a semester off and use the time to grab an internship or to do a semester of research (depending on your major)? This would really help you when either looking for a job or applying to grad school.

I'm in the same position...I think I may graduate a semester or a year early, and use the time to perhaps do volunteer work, internship, job, or some other applicable experience before applying to law school. It'll save you money, just make sure that you're going to use that extra time for a worthwhile experience rather than just for financial reasons (unless they are really pressing, in which case I'm sure we all understand).

I say graduate early! volunteer, work, get an internship something!
or Stay and maybe possibly graduate with a minor, or double major

I could graduate early (I am a semester ahead with APs), but I decided that I would rather double major than grad. a semester early. I think it would be an interesting choice for my future that I am knowledgeable in two totally unrelated fields.
But I guess its personal preference...

I could graduate a semester early if I wanted to but I would have to bust my ass off for the next two semesters to do that. I already did that the last oh ... five semesters (taking 18 hours some semesters and already having AP credits) but I enjoy busting my ass off. Keeps me busy and learnin'. If you like school then perhaps you could double major or minor in something else or do an internship one semester and so on. Personally, I think the internship/co-op idea sounds like a good one but you should figure out all of the options and choose what you want. If you want a better chance in the job world, internships are the place to be.

I can also graduate a semester early- even my college has me down for December 2007 as graduation date!!! I transferred in with so many credits that they deemed me a second semester sophomore instead of first semester. All I had to do was to take one more course to transfer in and I'm done early.

Not happen' man. I'm having way too much fun here, even my parents think it's worth for me to stay for another semester. Doing this will mainly allow me to pursue my Honors Thesis... maybe another semester abroad if I feel like it.... or start on my pre-vet pre-reqs...haha. So many possiblities as previous posters said. It's YOUR time and it's free so you need to make really good use of it.
