Honors courses (was lazy and immature here to )
Chemistry Honors(Sophomore)
AP Physics (Senior)
AP Psychology (Senior)

I currently have gaurenteed admission to CSULB ( something with being a resident @ LB)
Don't want to go to LB as I would like to transfer to a UC, and I have heard it really hard to do that.

Recently stop being lazy and realized I messed up, and its a little to late, will they look at my senior year?

If I apply to a UC I plan to major in either chemistry/philosophy
Mostly was trying to get in to
UCSB(Dream School)
UCSD
UCI
UCSC

Wish I could get a second chance unfortunately its to late, I know I can Achieve a lot better, results above where do to a lack of effort.

I really want to know before I set my path towards CSULB , you won’t hurt my feelings lol.

I got into UCSC with a 1600 and a 3.84 gpa and lots of EC’s and my essays were pretty good. I think you have a decent shot at UCSC depending on your major. I got rejected to UCSB and UCI so I’m not sure how high your chances are sice my gpa was higher

I’m pretty sure schools look at senior year. You’re admittance to a school is “provisional” meaning they can reject you after you send in your final official transcript and it’s not up to par with what you’ve had

I’ve heard UC’s look for an upward trend in grades though! Just do your best and it’ll all work out!

Finally a respond!! Thanks UCSC girl. Where you instate? I know I will have a upwards trend since school isn’t hard for me and reason for my low grades was failure to turn in HW I know stupid lazy move, haha anyways I believe both of my majors are unimpacted. If not I shall stay in my hometown in LB BORRING!!!

Any one else? I know my GPA is kinda low, but I have noticed that my majors are unimpacted.

Yeah I was instate but I’m from Sacramento. Honestly UC’s look at so many other things besides your GPA it’s hard to say who will get in and who won’t. My friend had like 10+ AP classes, a 4.1 GPA and like 1900 on her SAT and she got into UCSC but wait listed at CSULB and eventually let in
