I have a semester worth of credits coming in as a freshman, and didn't take as much credits as i should(only 14). Few of my friends are trying to complete early, and so i thought why not save myself a semester worth of money and do the same? I think i'll be able to catch up on credits, but is it worth it? wat are some disadvantages to this?

edit: i forgot to mention, im talking about COE

One disadvantage is you’ll be trying to shove all your engineering credits in a short period of time, taking more hard classes than you should be in a semester.

I wouldn’t suggest trying to cram all of the courses into a shorter time frame. What this does give you is leverage when you apply for co-ops. With a semester’s worth of AP credits, you can take co-op during the school year and not have to take classes during the summer.
