I know the economy is in the **** now but i was thinking in general, is the recruiting and job prospects of graduating in the winter (~january) much poorer than if i had chosen to graduate in the spring (may)? I want to spend an extra semester in college but would it adversely affect my employment chances? I'm thinking there are two ways to look at it. The spring is indeed the prime time for recruitment with the majority of students graduating then but there's also a lot more competition that you won't have during the winter? Any thoughts?
