<p>Does anyone recall how long the diploma ceremony was? </p>
<p>I'm trying to plan our dinner, and the school reccomends we make reservations for no earlier than 6:00 - but that seems awfully cautious to me.<br>
The dept. diploma ceremony starts at 3:00 (English - I have no idea how many kids that would be). If we walk to CW (thereby beating the traffic), do you think we would make a 5:00 res at Kings' Arms (all I could get).</p>
<p>You probably should be OK, but let me check with my sig. other who's an '06 english grad. She'll likely have a better idea than I as to the time frame. I'll try to let you know this evening.</p>
<p>For other ideas, it may be a bit of a slight bit of a haul, but eating in Richmond may not be a bad idea either.</p>
<p>Thanks Ghost...we have family coming down (just for the day) who have never been to CW, so we're trying to give them the flavor of the place <he's been="" there="" for="" 4="" years="" and="" now="" they="" finally="" squeeze="" out="" 1="" day!!=""></he's></p>
<p>Alright, I've been told "about an hour" for the ceremony. I think most depts try and make it a relatively speedy process. They understand the dinner thing.</p>

<p>Depending on the dept, it could be from 40 minutes to a little over an hour.</p>
