Graduation Parties

I've been invited to about 5, what is a respectable amount of money I should be including in a gift? Or should I just show up and hang out?

I was also invited to a lot of grad parties. i plan on just showing up and hanging out. i will probably only get gifts for my closest friends.

I usually only get gifts for my closer friends, and I do mean gifts, not money. Last year I got people towels, laundry baskets, etc.

I think small gifts are a pretty good idea. That way, you can find something that is personal for your friends. I think most seniors understand that you can't afford to be spending a ton of money on them b/c you have to go to college too, but a little gift is always nice.

yea i have a load of those and i dont feel like spending that much money

any cheap ideas?

$.25 bouncing balls?

haha I've never gotten any of my friends graduation gifts... I hope they were never expected any :)

depends on the type of party, you could always bring a case of beer or bottle of scotch or something if it's the types of party that I'll be going to, that's what I'm doing.

I've only been "invited" to like 5 graduation parties. I feel so unpoular now.

shravas, you are a freshman...what do you expect?

i have been invited to none and i am a senior. how is that???
