So i dont know if this is true or not, but today my parents went to parents teacher conference and they were informed that i have a chance that i cant graduate. Is this true or not? i have more than the required credits(44). were the teachers lying?
I’ve passed all my classes from freshman to senior’s first semester. however, i was doing bad on my first marking period of my second semester, failed 3 classes. but i will get that grade boost up during my 2nd and 3rd marking period.
Seems like future tense. If you don’t get those grades up, you probably won’t be able to graduate this year, especially if one of those classes is a graduation requirement.
I know that in my county you have to have 3 history credits, but 1 credit has to be US history, another credit of US government and 1 credit world history. Your school might have similar requirements that you have not filled.
You should search up your county’s graduation requirements to see whether this is the case then discuss this with you guidance counselor to see how you can fix the situation.
Why would your teachers lie to you about this when you’re a senior who’s (hopefully) about to graduate.
For my school we have to have a certain amount of credits and SPECIFIC credits to graduate with. Have you taken any courses involving the arts? Lots of people at my school don’t know they need an arts (music, art, etc.) class to graduate. I did a bit of research and a lot of schools’ policies are the same as my school’s.
