<p>Anyone else struggling to write one?</p>
<p>I honestly have no idea what to say. I'm still not clear on what the point of a commencement speech is. I've heard a ton of them, but I guess none were that memorable, since I have no clue what they were about.</p>

<p>Wow, living my life right now. I have to write the speech too, and I’m having such a hard time. I mean, I know what I want to say, but the problem is that I keep getting writer’s block.</p>
<p>memorable ones are usually funny, or emotional, I find.</p>
<p>I would definitely list a few points of what you want to talk about, and just go with the flow, and speak whats in your heart, if you can.</p>

<p>I pretty much just feel screwed right now. Saturday is graduation day for me. 
Just got back from my sister’s college graduation, still have AP testing to go, and a speech to write and polish by Saturday. Plus a random honors assembly and a sleepover with a best friend I probably won’t see after this week.</p>
<p>Why can’t life just be easy for once? :(</p>
<p>Since I bet there are plenty of valedictorians, current and former, lurking around here…how did you guys start writing your speech? I feel like I can’t even set pen to paper, especially not after hearing all the amazing speeches at my sister’s graduation.</p>
