<p>Hard to believe we are in "graduation" mode already. Where did the time fly?? Anyone here have older kids/sibs who can advise about the weekend graduation schedule? Looking at last year's schedule, the events (unified graduation ceremony and Wave Goodbye party) were on Thurs, whereas this year, they are on Saturday. Does anyone know if the individual departments have events on the day/days prior? We are looking at scheduling our own local celebration for DS/friends and family, and don't want to schedule anything that will conflict with other events.

<p>Time flies by indeed! I have made hotel arrangement but have not bought the air tickets yet. I would be interested in graduation related info as well. Since we are from out of state, I also need to figure out if his stuff needs to be transported back home, or to where he lands his first job. Lots to think about…</p>
<p>We plan to drive as we will probably be bringing some of his stuff home, no matter where he ends up after college. Haven’t for sure decided on lodging.</p>
<p>We got a room at the already sold out Hampton Inn on St. Charles ( 
), to be nearby and have free parking, but will have relatives stay downtown in the Quarter, to have more fun.</p>
