Oh, that's easy to fix!

Shoot, Shovel, and Shut Up! :D

LOL!!! if only I had the courage!!!

navy2010 -

right there with you, except I don't quite have 15 rooms and my husband waits until 9-10p.m. to retire for the night and I still have a headstrong 16 year old daughter hold up in her room (when she's not borrowing the car) LOL!

But a glass of vino sipped slowly does indeed help! I know my nest is'nt empty yet but I feel like crying already! My first born is leaving me!!! Nothing prepares you for this!

Thoughts on Empty Nesting from the Pro: Jamzmom:

1 Ya don't sip anymore. You chug.

2 Old girlfriend/boyfriend problems? HA! I laugh in the face of death. I will come over and not break a sweat ridding them for you. Then chug some more.

3 Empty rooms are fun! Jamz room is a new library holding all nautical items & books. (He didn't freak on me too badly) Older son's room is now my office. Media room is in the process. Going shopping again tomorrow! Weeee!!!!!!

4 Walk through grocery store and cry when you buy things for two people. Go home & decide to make the hubby take you out so you can chug some more with dinner and not do it alone.

5 Get two new puppies and dress them up & take them to get ice cream.

6 Really. Do #5. They like it! I don't care what Bill & Boss say.

7 Take up a new sport. Its called Terrorize the hubby game. Make him go on a diet & hide his driver and putter before he heads out to the club then grin & go chug something.

8 Email everyone you know everyday. Especially with photos you take of puppies dressed up. It drives them nuts.

9 Call 800 #s & say, "Hey! How's the weather where you are?"

10 Chug something & get on CC to see what everyone is doing! I like ya'll! LOL

Jamzmom-

I like ya'll too! LOL!!!

I'm chugging as we speak! LOL!

LOL!!!

JM- you have made my day and this one will be saved in the scrapbook for future reference!!!

Will start chugging immediately!

As for another puppy- you have no idea how tempting that is! We are loving this one to death! The stroller arrived yesterday for the little one, and would you believe they opened a puppy boutique in the mall that is to die for! The sundresses are just too cute- and I had to get three of them 'cause I couldn't make up my mind- and a rhinestone little heart necklace to go with them of course- and a cute little purse to carry her around in for the summer, in the latest "lime" of course! Oh, and did I mention the puppy cologne....wild honeysuckle? To go with the vanilla shampoo and conditioner- and the pink nailpolish- oh, and the little A/C unit we got for her stroller so that she's not too hot on I-day in her little Navy dress!

...this empty nest thing is costing me a fortune!

As for the bf- he's got to go! I might just have to invite Zaphod up for dinner to straighten things out! And I have such a nice replacement in mind for her too....

Sorry! Too young for me! :D

If anyone feels lonely with their empty nest, I can send my 15yr old Mike over. When he was 2, the song "Bad to the Bone" began to suit him. Have to have a parental dragnet over this one. Jake served as his moral compass so I'm going to have to figure something out really quick.

1 way ticket came today for Jake. Its coming too soon for me.

not for her you silly- I have someone in mind for her- I wanted you to take care of the bf that comes over and lays all over my couch! ;)

Oh, sure! Give me the dirty work! :(

;)

He lays all over your couch? What a slug!
