Ummm, I don't want to waste my time on the rehearsals and the ceremony itself and I honestly don't really give a ****. I don't like my school and I feel no connection to it. I don't want to go to graduation.

Should I go?

And you don't have to go to graduation to graduate, right? It's not like you're stuck in high school if you don't go to graduation...

You’ve been in school for 12 years, suck it up and go to graduation, it’s only going to take a few hours and you’ve probably spent more time tying your shoes.

There are a lot of things in life we don’t want to do that we do anyway. Ask your parents, ask your friends, and ask your relatives. If they don’t care, we certainly don’t.

Why ask, if you disregard everyone’s advice. Go to graduation, don’t be a loser that thinks not going to graduation is an act of defiance, because it isn’t.

She wanted my brother to skip it and I bet when it comes up she will want me to skip it. I can see why. When I went to my brothers last year I was bored to death. Period. There was nothing fun about it.

hahaha, theReach, you think im being intentionally rebellious by not going? i just dont want to waste my ****ing time. however, i think through my choices, so thats why im asking you guys whether its worth the time, whether you actually got something out of graduation, and that its perfectly fine not to go

I saw no value in going to my brothers last year. I mean, if you actually have something to do there like a val or sal speech, or if you could possibly get an award (my county gave two awards out), then it may be worth while going.

It’s only the beginning of the year. Why worry about it now?
