i have SAT on oct 5 and i am litttle confised with the use of I and ME
please help me with these! thankx in advance

This is a very basic grammar rule, so you should know it, not just for the SAT, but in speaking and academic writing in general. Use “I” when referring to the subject of a sentence, and “me” when referring to the object:

He and I went to the store.
*He and me went to the store.

She gave me the book.
*She gave I the book.

(the * denotes an incorrect sentence)

thank you for your reply !! :D

As a check, you can also revise the sentence to only include yourself. Use of I or me will be the same in either case:

Is it “Julie and me went to the store” or “Julie and I went to the store”?

Try taking Julie out of the sentence.

“I went to the store” or " Me went to the store"?

Since “I” is correct in the second case, it is also correct in the first case:

“Julie and I went to the store”

@takeitallin very helpful thankx

On a funny note, although SAT kicked ME in the ass during practice tests, I kicked ass in the SAT on OCT 5th.

:) hopefully I can live to that sentence!

so in the above sentence, ME was object (got kicked) but I was the subject (who kicked ass) lol
