i think that this question has got an error but the PR 11 practice tests claims that it doesn't so can anybody tell me whether im wrong or right?

Not one of the doctors who is treating my sister knows exactly what is wrong with her .

i believe that it should be :
Not one of the doctors who are treating my sisters knows exactly what is wrong with her.
( because there is a 'who' whatever is before is determines whether the verb should be singular or plural - thats what i think so please correct me if im wrong)
thanx :)

One is singular.

i guess but this site says something else

( rule 13)

Take out "of the" which is confusing you:

"Not one doctor who is treating my sister knows exactly what is wrong with her."

"Of the" changes the noun to plural, since it implies that there is more than one, but does not change the verb.
