My latest practice test was 720M, 400CR, 570W. Will GRAMMATIX work for me in CR? I need it up to a 550+ in 1 month.

Anyone know?

Apparently, Grammatix has provided a lot of help in CR (according to most CCers).

Does it work for people barely scoring in the 400's? I would think that GRAMMATIX works only for people scoring in the 500-600's.

Actually, I think it works for people more in the 400s than in the 500 - 600s. You would be able to improve more.

i don't understand all this fuss over grammatix

i studied it but it didn't help me very much. However, rocketreview is the one that i think helped me get 2400

I would recommend Princeton Review for CR. I think they are particularly strong for verbal prep.

wuts grammatix lols

shoenberg, RR is a piece of garbage. I doubt it helped you get a 2400.

hey lilkiller, not trying to be mean. But u've been asking advices since forever. Get off this site and just start practicing. Even the worst kaplan book can increase your score by 100 points if u try.

jamesN, explain

it may not have helped me THAT much, but it surely helped a lot more than grammatix

In my opinion Grammatix is better than other prep books because it is concise and straightforward. Other books have so much rhetoric that it sometimes confuses me. . .

And I have a question for those who are owners of Grammatix. For the "SAT writing process" in step 6. Sentence starts with "Make" he means three examples and not two right?

Yeah, he means 3
