Grammatix's guide to attacking the SAT essay. (What I think about it)

I just wanted to share my awesome experience after 20 mins of looking through Mikes Grammatix essay guide. Before I looked through Mike's guide, I kept on getting low scores like 4 to 6 (combined), but after just 20 mins of reading his guide and following his steps, I got a score of 10 on the CB online essay scoring!!! It's freaken amazing!

I just wanted to let others who need help on the SAT essay to know that, if you have trouble writing a SAT essay, then check out Mike's Grammatix essay guide! Anyways, Thanks for the wonderful guide Mike! I strongly suggest anyone who has not, to check out this amazing guide.

three things--

first, thanks for the kind words :)

second, just so nobody feels like they need to buy the guide for the essay part, the essay advice is available for free on the web site. it's one of the two free sample chapters.

third, and by far most importantly: be careful of the College Board's online scoring thing. it's basically just a measurement of how long the essay is--a longer essay gets a higher score from the online grader. rather than worry about the online grader, if i were you i'd try to come as close as possible to imitating known high-scoring essays like the ones in the blue book.

that's all i'm gonna say on this thread :)

Has anyone has actually managed to get a 12 on the real thing by following the Grammatix essay guide?
