Question for any Drexel students/parents here... Did you receive any grant/scholarship aid from Drexel? If so, will greatly appreciate if you post your stats and amount.

Drexel gives out lots of merit scholarships, ranging from ~10k to almost full tuition. For the larger amounts, your S/D will need to have a high GPA and SAT scores. Most people receive some sort of scholarship, though. I’m not sure about need-based aid.

My son received a huge scholarship ($33K), but is not attending due to the remaining huge gap between that and our EFC. It was a wonderful scholarship…but Drexel does not give need based aid. They also consider a Parent Plus loan “aid” and include it in your FA package, but there is still a bottom line amount for you to come up with.
My son was only 2 points from the cut-off for our state for NMSF, so those 2 pts cost us a lot of money! However, he is very happy with the school he chose to attend, which is much closer to where we live and has an almost identical program for his major.
