Grants/Scholarships at Ivy Leagues?

Are there any grants/scholarships for a student to receive that has the academic qualifications to get in, has an Ivy coach or two talking to them about playing a sport there, and that does not qualify for any finanacial aid? Or should we plan to pay the full amount?

The Ivy League schools do not give out merit based or athletic scholarships. The only aid that they do give his based on an individual student’s need.

Thanks, that is what I assumed to be the case but was not certain.

Always remember that when in doubt, contact the individual institution- I don’t profess to be an expert in college admissions, although I went through the process with my son last year.

Since all the ivy students have high stats, they’d all “qualify” for merit. All their aid is need-based.

Ivies do not give athletic scholarships either.

Having or not having an “ivy coach” won’t make a bit of difference aid wise.
