I live in the Oc area and I want to stay local. I am having trouble picking a school for Graphic Design major. my top schools are UCI CSUF CSULB AND Chapman (but it's expensive)! I need opinions! help

I think CSULB because it is a great school and thwre are a lot of options for classes. I wanted to take graphic design and they also offer print making classes which is great

Technically it doesn’t matter, the great thing about the visual arts is that its all about what you put into it. That being said, choose the school where you are the happiest.

Certainly, effort is plays a tremendous role in any student’s success, but you’ve got to have a few key faculty to really help you learn to see – especially in graphic design. GD is not using software. It’s not making book jackets or posters or whatever. It’s about semiotics. It’s about gestalt theory. It’s about composing language using visual metaphors. There’s so much crap design out there because not enough designers actually understand their craft.
