is it really that bad...?

I mean, there are good and bad things about baltimore...

For one, it's pretty inexpensive to live in as far as large cities go
the people here are all pretty cool and innovative
i really like the struggle of living in a desolate city with no transportation, it requires me to be resourceful.

The things I don't like are...
People are pretty judgmental. That will happen everywhere though.
Although it's 3 hours away from New York, Baltimore FEELS isolated- there's not much to do in this city. It's very boring. Not safe. A lot of things close early. Not very many venues. Nearly no galleries.

That's awful LittleConey!! I felt really safe in Chicago (oddly enough).

By the way, we can't take core classes in the summer, but we can take electives. So I assume we could just get some credits out of the way in the summer...

I did get my schedule and my advisor said I have to take an extra class. (I'm taking studio practice I and II at the same time) WEIRD! But it's my fault for being indecisive and starting in spring.

i think LittleConey is talking about Baltimore?
hey LuChixaro I'm taking Studio Pract I and II too...
my schedule's on Wednesday n Friday..

little coney, do you live on campus or off? my friend and i were walking around that part of bmore at night before and neither of us felt particularly unsafe, maybe its cos we dont do it on a regular basis

Oh sorry, it came out wrong. I've been to both cities and felt weird in Baltimore, but no so much in Chicago (which I thought would be scary.)

Me too! We have Core II before Core I because school starts on a Friday. How weird is that, lol?? I think they put all of us Spring people in the same classes. Guess we'll see each other around then ^_^

Yea LuChixaro! i'll see you in like 2 weeks?
are you staying at the school's residential halls?

After reading reviews on MICA.... I kinda start to regret choosing SAIC over MICA.... sighh... hopefully SAIC's vis comm program isnt that 'bad'

Yeah, I just got my room assignment today! Looks like I'm in the 162 building.

Don't worry, both schools are of the same quality. And besides, Chicago over Baltimore anyyyydayy. ;)

see you soon
