Hey guys, I'm looking into public schools for Graphic Design (or something in that sort of field; e.g. Illustration, Web Design). I can't seem to get good info on it, because each university really IS unique when it comes to arts and I want to get to a good design school with the most opportunity. I swear I read somewhere about ASU having a good program, so I was looking into it, but now I can't confirm that. If you guys have a rankings list, or any insight on what PUBLIC colleges are best, I would love that.

I have a decent portfolio built up, and I've won some design competitions, but I don't have enough money chances are to go to a good private school like Pratt or any of those kind.

Any help is appreciated, I'm just trying to decide where to apply.

Also, how much of a factor do SATs, ACTs, and GPA play in public schools for art and design? I know private schools pretty much don't care at all, but do public schools approach it differently? None of mine are terrible, they could even help me. I received a 1970 on my first SAT and plan to take it again, and my GPA is decent.

Anyways, thanks :D
