then get TI89. It makes TI83/84 bit the dust.

The TI-89 Titanium has far more power than the TI-84+ Silver.

and you can play better games. ;)

I like the TI83 TI83+, same diff. =)

well then why can't he just get a scientific calculator for like $10 and when he takes calc later on he can get an 89

I find 83s are easier to use =P

TI83+ is good because thats what we had to use in our classes and thats what the teachers tought with and i got a 100 on the regents with it

Graphing is useful on SAT and PSAT. Not neccesary. But helpful.

you don't need anything more than the 83+, even in calculus. the 89 is for lazy people who don't feel like doing the math or for people who are more interested in playing games instead of listening to the teacher in math class.

Haha, what mathwiz said. =P Graphing calculators are helpful on the SAT/PSAT too

Don't forget that if you're taking the ACT you can't use a TI-89.

Yes, I going to take the SATII: Math IIC. Also, I plan on taking AP Calculus next year and plan on being a Biochemistry major in college.

BTW, I do have TI-86 and a messed up TI-83.

I'd probably just get an 83+. They're only around 70-80 bucks and you get easily get through Calc BC and Stats with it.

the best calc..... is NONE!!!! :)
