Gratuitous posting boost: In one sentence or less...sell someone on UCLA!

We need to take those Berkeley bastages on! More postings!

In one sentence or less (one word is fine), sell someone on why they should go to UCLA.

Cuz UCLA isn't Berkeley!

It's in Socal.

More NCAA championships than any other school in the nation.

It has the most beautiful campus in the NATION...i don't care WHAT you say, I've been to every single IVY league campus, almost every top private school's campus- and UCLA has the niccceeeessst campus of every school I've been to.

I'm with you, slicmlic...UCLA is gorgeous.

Oh, here's the randomest thing my dad keeps mentioning as a point in its favor: apparently UCLA has a really really good bus system.

UCLA looks like an Ivy school but has southern california weather! ;)

now THATs attractive

Hey slicmlic2001, you're supposed to keep it to one sentence.... :)

Yeah UCLA has its own bus system that works pretty well - I can't believe they cut out the ackerman turnaround stop, though... that was stupid.

Socal...not a plus...Go to Berkeley!

^ you must have missed the second post in this thread, tore...

westwood owns

Ocean view from my Dykstra window right now :)

Because 'tore' isn't going to UCLA. ;)

socal > norcal any day of the week and twice on Sunday.

Ocean view from Rieber south window too

No view whatsoever from my fourth-floor De Neve north window. :(

because of single person dorms next year

As a third-year next year, I'm really interested in those single person dorms...
Glad all that construction paid off in some manner...

"you must have missed the second post in this thread, tore..."

No, I saw it and disagreed.

Indeed, UCLA will not be graced by my presence, exilio. I will be going to a superior school. ;)

By the way, "socal > norcal" if you like conservatives and shopping malls. I generally do not.

From what I hear, those singles are going to start at $14,500 for the year...
