The test is the same for everyone, but you will get random questions. Everyone submits at different times depending on where in the world they take the test. It is not run at the same time/day all over the world!

thanks alot for ur reply

do you mean the questions are only mixed up ???

so that they r the same but in different order
??

Are you trying to cheat?...lol. No the questions aren't mixed, they are completely different questions.

heh, that is exactly what I was thinking. The same test is not given in different parts of the world hours apart. At least for the computer based test, I am sure there is a HUGE bank of questions, and you get different questions based on how well you do on the questions (i.e. if you get the first questions correct, they start feeding you harder and harder questions).

If you really are trying to cheat, I am sure ETS has plenty of safeguards to not allow that. Otherwise, what are you trying to figure out here?

huh people .. you have gone so far

my friend in australia .. I just want to write the answers on the draft paper and then check it out with her.

You are not allowed to take the paper with you when you leave and you are made to sign a statement before beginning the exam stating that you will not discuss the questions with anyone.

Besides, the pace of the exam is such that I would think writing down all your answers as you go would waste too much time and not allow you to finish.

You think they wouldn't have thought of that? Of course you can't get away with something of that nature. Anyone stupid enough to think they could has no place at grad school IMO.

For the record, there is a massive pool of questions, they are drawn randomly at first and then your answers to the first 7 or 10 determine the kinds of questions that you are given through the rest of the test.
