I have a Windows XP laptop and I am having trouble w/ running the practice tests on my computer from GRE powerprep. I dloaded Powerprep from the GRE website and it's worked (mostly) fine for things except that things towards the right eighth of the screen get cut off (eg when it displays question X out of 30 or something like that I can't ever see the 0 on the 30.) I've been able to access and do all the practice problems and essays (i think) fine but I can't take the practice tests at all. The practice tests all start out w/ an essay question and I guess the part where you select which essay topic you want is cut off from the screen so there is no way I can proceed w/ the test. Help? I tried changing my screen resolution manually (didn't help) and in the directions it says taht if you want to see what the testing computer looks like exactly change to a default windows setting (instead of XP). Is that what I have to do to get my Powerprep practice tests to work w/ the monitor settings?
