<p>I can't find the answer to this question in any prep books for some reason: On the GRE do you lose points for answering questions incorrectly? For example, if you answer the last 3 questions wrong on the quantitative section, would your score have been higher if you just hadn't answered them at all? Or do unanswered questions go down as "wrong"? Thanks!</p>
<p>On the general GRE exam, you do not lose points for answering incorrectly, so make sure to at least guess on every question.</p>
<p>A blank answer has the same effect as a wrong answer. So it's in your best interest to guess if you're stumped.</p>
