Any suggestions on how to study for the GRE? I am very worried about the math section considering I graduated from college in 1999. I was a journalism major so I didn't have to have any math other than one Statistics class. It has been a long time. Classes? Books? How many months should I give myself to study. Any thoughts on this would be appreciated.

Barron's is kind of the bible for the GRE, it seems, although some have other preferences, it's a good place to start. Also use the Powerprep that comes with the GRE (they will send you a CD with it when you register, or you can download it for free off the GRE website). Number2.com also has free test prep and gives practice questions and explanations.

As far as time is concerned, I would start studying now, and when you feel you're ready, take the test. My experience was that it was very easy to get into a test date within the week, even, as they seem to run the test all day every day in several locations.
