Great architecture schools that don't require a portfolio?

I searched all the pages of this forum and I couldn't find this topic..
What are some great schools that don't require a portfolio?

I know a few: Northeastern, VirginiaTech, PhillyU

What are some more...specifically in the Mid Atlantic region or the East Coast!

Tulane, Buffalo, Drexel

Penn State

University of Cincinnati, and, depending on your GPA (>3.8), Pratt will waive the portfolio requirement

I meet the Pratt GPA requirement, but should I still make up a portfolio to better my chances? I have a 3.8 and 29 act.

^ yes. it is always better to have a portfolio than not, imo.

Are they any colleges that have the 4+2 thing?
I know university of maryland has it…any others?

Tulane: 5 year MArch

@pageturner: umm tulane is in new orleans!

Where did pageturner say anything about where Tulane is?

OP said that he is looking for programs in the Mid-Atlantic or the East Coast.

Oh I see. Well then Buffalo, Penn State and Cincy should also have been cited as off base. Better to mention a few extra and let the OP weed them out, I would say. Have you ever been to New Orleans, OP?

UT Austin

rick

Penn State IS in a mid-Atlantic state. New York is usually considered to be a mid-Atlantic state, so that includes Buffalo.

LOL, that is like saying Pittsburgh is like Philadelphia. The states may be mid-Atlantic, but Buffalo and Harrisburg are hardly mid-Atlantic in their particular location, at least as far as the term implies. Whatever, it is better to suggest schools that might be interesting to the OP, he is obviously perfectly capable of eliminating them quickly if the location is not to his liking.

Wait what is OP?
& IF I am, I AM A GIRL! lol and no i have never been to New Orleans

OP=Original poster.

Oooops, sorry. Then you really should try and visit the campus and see what the department is doing, plus how nice the campus and that area of New Orleans are. I hear the Dean of the School of Architecture is really dynamic.

But I dont want to venture too far away from home :/
