<p>Former students who took Great Books 191, do you actually read the books? If not, what grades did you get?</p>
<p>I read most of them but I did not read all of them. I got an A in the class. I had a great TA for the discussion section [he is now a professor at a major university] and I went to all the classes and read Cliff Notes. This is not an endorsement for skipping the books but an answer to the OP’s question.</p>
