Hey, I'm an incoming Freshman and I'm wondering if Honors Great Books is really as easy as I hear it is (i.e., nobody reads the books but everyone gets A's) and if it's a bad idea to take 5 classes your first semester of college (if one is a joke.) I'll be in the RC and honors (still deciding about honors.)

Great books isn't a total joke. It's not "nobody readsa but everyone gets A's". It's more like "most people don't read and about 60% of people get A's". Taking 5 classes is fine. If you took a moderately challenging high school courseload, 18 credits at michigan isnt much tougher.
