This was our third move in trip to college and our best by far. Wooster did everything right from the well organized trip to the dorm, help unloading the car, snacks, music and celebratory atmosphere to the President of the college stopping in to say "welcome to campus" while we were setting up the room. The warm welcome and the group photo of the class of 2015 followed by bagpipes and a picnic on the quad sent us on our way feeling like this was a great start to 4 wonderful years. We have visited many great schools and have two children at other highly selective LAC colleges but Wooster is a stand out. Our student, after 3 weeks is thrilled with her choice - exceptional students from all over who are interested in a great education and are socially engaging, fun, real and equally happy with their choice (one of her friends turned down U of Chicago and Northwestern to attend Wooster). This is a sleeper school that will not be the "safety" it may have been in the past.

I have two daughters currently attending Wooster and couldn’t agree more. My oldest, who is a sophomore, is probably the happiest college student I know and the youngest isn’t far behind and it’s true for their friends as well. Oldest was fortunate enough to be selected for a summer internship over the summer…incredible experience for her - and not really an uncommon one for the students at Wooster. Definitely a sleeper school - even people in Ohio don’t realize what a gem they have in their own backyard! As Loveadmissions found, Wooster is such a nurturing and warm environment, that as we say our goodbyes in August, as parents we leave (maybe a little less tearfully) knowing that Wooster is the perfect choice.

We also had a great experience at “Moove in”. This was our third college drop off and by far the smoothest. Our daughter is so happy with her choice and we are happy for her. It is a wonderful small academic school with good division 3 sports and a nice little town. I have looked at a lot of schools over the past three/four years and this one really is special! We were impressed by the diversity and friendliness of the students. The campus is beautiful as well.

my daughter volunteered to help with Moove in and I am actually on the parent committee for it and handed out snacks, etc. to the parents who came by our tables. Also our third child at college and definitely the most upbeat atmosphere–love the bagpipes which are all over campus all the time. (Random acts of piping–there is a youtube video if you haven’t seen it already). It’s a great school, it’s tough though, lots of writing. Daughter is a music therapy major and an athlete, going into jr year and will probably drop the sport this year. great experience and she went to India this summer for 7 weeks on a grant through the school. So many opportunities to take advantage of in this tiny midwestern school.
