<p>Your SAT is above average! They might not be up to par with the 99% of people on this website who are upset over a 2390 SAT, but so what? And also, I managed to raise my SAT from an 1820 to a 2000 in 2.5 months, so if you took like 5 or so practice tests then you could improve that by quite a bit! If that’s what you’d like to do, of course

<p>I was once told by a college counselor that your GPA and grades is ~1/3 of decision, extracurrs and essays are another 1/3, and SAT/ACT/SAT IIs are the last 1/3. I’m not entirely sure how accurate this is, but it sounds fairly reasonable.</p>
