Great school focused on science and liberal arts

Hi, I'm a rising senior and I'm desperately trying to narrow down my college list.

So just from reputation or personal knowledge, which are the best colleges that are focused on the sciences, but also great in liberal arts? Something along the lines of Cornell possibly?

Feel free to list Ivies and public schools. I'm non-discriminatory. Just want to get a general picture of which colleges I should look more closely into.

PS
Please don't list one college. Especially if it's an Ivy.

Check out Rice.

Sorry I listed only one, that's all that came to mind.

Harvey Mudd College is a liberal arts college which offers only science, math, and engineering degrees. And you can also take humanities classes at nearby prestigious LACs such as Pomona. Swarthmore also has good science programs.

But what exactly do you mean "good at liberal arts"? Do you mean is LAC-like?

Pomona is excellent at nearly everything. So is WashU.

Smith College is terrific in both science and liberal arts.

You have to narrow down what you're looking for. Seriously, the number of colleges that can offer both strong sciences and strong liberal arts are too extensive to try to name. I concur with Rice and Washu, but why not all the Ivies, as well as Stanford and Duke and Johns Hopkins. Not to mention top publics, particularly Berkeley, UCLA, Michigan, Wisconsin, UVA and others. Don't forget the LACs: the top "little Ivies" of course: Swat, Williams, Amherst but add Oberlin, Colgate, Macalester, Carleton, and many others too numerous to mention.

Set some parameters for location, size, selectictivity, particular areas of study and it might be easier to make suggestions that fit you personally.
