Great things about Northwestern List

What are some great things about Northwestern? As in what are some of the specifics that you can't find on the general college website.
I'm hoping a list can be started. :D

The people here are really nice. I'm not sure how it compares to other colleges, but I know it's way better than high school. Everyone seems to get along fine with everybody. But then again, that might be because I'm in a Residential College...

The ISP program (Integrated Science Program) seems unique....combining science courses with strong mathematical studies...

I can't emphasize it enough, but the people there are incredible. Everyone is an intellect, yet there is a really strong social scene and everyone is involved. The school looks just like pictures and there is literally always something to do.

Oh, and the econ geo class is really interesting. :)

Engineering Analysis. :D Gives you a much stronger foundation in engineering than other schools that don't have a similar program, from what I've heard.

The setting is magnificent. Right on Lake Michigan, charming town / small city with nice shopping, restaurants, etc. (very changed from years past), and all of Chicago at your disposal. The blend of people interested in so many different things (from theater to journalism to music to economics to engineering to languages) keeps it a really diverse mix. School spirit and pride, but not that gaggy-over-the-top-we-hate-everyone-else school spirit.

Amazing econ department! ;)

Easy to double major with at least one major in the Weinberg College of Arts & Sciences. Not so easy, however, to survive the introductory economics courses.
Two beaches on campus. Best soccer field setting in the country as spectators face a beautiful Lake Michigan view. 400 sailboats available for student use. Are sailing lessons free?
Two Chicago airports that make travel to either coast (or the Carribean) easy.

To quote Third Eye Blind at Dillo Day "I didn't know you guys had your own ocean!"

They have a Chipotle.

SESP - School of Education and Social Policy

One of the most unique undergraduate schools of its kind in the country

IlDesi- so trueeee. :)

This is seriously a very important component of college.

I was just wondering if Northwestern had a Chipotle nearby.

It is EXTREMELY important! I almost didn't apply to UMich because they didn't have a Chipotle...but they're building one!

As far as burrito chains go - I have to say that Burritoville in Manhattan kicks Chipotle's arse.

Eric Schulz. I love that guy

No way, Chipotle has it made.

Hands down :D

Well as restaurants go, you can't get much better than Evanston not to mention Chicago nearby. A Panera and Korean food place was all I really needed and NU's got those.

True true and there's this amazing Mexican restaurant right before you reach the admissions office.

Just go hungry, the lunch I had a few weeks ago was massive.
