Rice just posted a new link on their website to photos that provide a "virtual tour" with 360 degree views of the campus. Check it out! Rice University - Virtual Tours

Don't miss this! Thanks, blackeyedsusan!

Thanks for that, blackeyedsusan! I especially liked the tour of the engineering building (Duncan Hall?) -- love that ceiling, and the virtual tour click-and-drag lets you see every tile! Also, that was my first look at the new Brochstein Pavilion. Maybe it's better in person, but it looks so out of place among those beautiful brick buildings and archways.

Wonderful! Thanks for sending this, Susan. It's great to be able to show Rice to friends and family who haven't been there. By the way, there's a funny editing error on the Rice Village page. Whoops! (-:

Wow! We are supposed to visit Rice in October, and now I REALLY CAN'T WAIT!! The campus is utterly amazing, to say in the least. My relatives have spoken about their beloved alma mater, but never emphasized how gorgeous the campus was! Thanks for the link!

Despite what's served in it, I really like the Brochstein Pavilion. The landscaping around it is great, too.

Ditto to all of the above ... I love buildings ... I only wish they included at least a few shots of plazas full of kids etc. It looks dead from the outside observer. Show me a little action and energy!

This is really cool, but I wish they would have gotten some shots of the science/engineering buildings (apart from Duncan and Herzstein) and the museum.
