I didn't catch the name of the gentleman who ran our morning information session on 7/31, but in the hopes that someone from the admissions office reads this forum, I wanted to post that his presentation was probably the best one we have heard yet, including at the Ivies. I felt he was engaging, sincere, knowledgeable, and very articulate. Others may not feel this way, but I do judge an institution by the people they choose to represent them. The tour guide was quite engaging (in a quirky way) as well.

I'm not sure NYU is the best fit for my child, but the visit was worthwhile in that it really got her excited about her future.

That is exactly how we felt when we first visited NYU a year ago. Made my D excited as well. Our tour guide was the cherry on the cake. Now she will be a freshman this fall.

I LOVED my tour guide. The info sesh, not so much. It just felt very long and drawn out. but my tour guide, I forget his name, was awesome. He's a math and Musical Theater major (which was helpful, since I'm applying for MT) and was extremely informative.
