Great way to start off Winter Break..

<p>After my finals, I was so relieved to be finished with my classes, since I disliked every single one of them(First-year freshman btw). So I left campus in a happy mood and accomplished, since I tried hard in all of my classes... But once I could check my grades, boy was I devastated..</p>

<p>Intro to Drawing- D+
Intro to Design- C
Statistics- D
English- B
GPA- 1.85</p>

<p>Not only are those horrible grades and the worst GPA I have ever received in my life, but now I'm unable to take my next core class, Foundations to Drawing. I have no idea what to do now, sections for my drawing class are filled up, so retaking it is currently not an option, but that GPA is just plain sh**. I've never felt so unhappy about school, during the semester, and after. I'm starting to wonder if I'm even in the right major (Graphic Design).</p>

<p>So yeah, that's my winter break so far... how about you guys? Hopefully a lot better than mine..</p>

<p>Can you waitlist your way into the intro to drawing class?</p>

<p>I can’t tell you if you are in the right major, but you can still pull up those grades and do alright.</p>

<p>My last final isn’t until Tuesday, and my hope is to turn in my last paper by the morning of the 24th. So I’ve got a ways to go yet.</p>

<p>Good luck with your final! Meh… I’ve never been too good at art, in fact I would say I kind of suck, but who knows… Maybe I’ll shine in the computer design class I’m taking next quarter…</p>

<p>Sounds like the GPA I had 2 semesters ago if you just bump the C up to a B, don’t worry, it’s not something you can’t recover from. Retake the stats and fix that GPA, I know it sucks right now but you can make it better. The intro to design too</p>

<p>I would take classes you know you will do well in because a GPA of under 2.0 probably means you’ll be put on Financial Aid Probation.</p>
