Great Weekend for the Bulldogs

For those of you interested in athletics, yale had a GREAT weekend!

Football Team came back from 14 down in the 4th quarter to pull off a dramatic victory at princeton, extinguishing the tiger's hopes for a bonfire (winning HYP) and an Ivy title. If Brown loses next weekend against Columbia (don't bet on it), Yale can win the Ivy with a win at Harvard.

Women's Soccer, having already won the Ivy league, made it into the sweet 16 of the women's tournament with an upset win over #3 DUKE by a late goal in the final second. Will play Notre Dame next.

Men's Soccer won at least a share of the Ivy league with a 1-0 win at princeton.

Women's Volleyball beat harvard to come within a 1/2 game of league leaders Cornell. Can tie for the Ivy League Title with a victory at Brown. Yale was the Ivy league rep in the NCAA's last year and they hope to repeat with a win against Brown and then Cornell in a tie-breaker

CBD, you are certainly correct! I was at the football game, saw most of the men's soccer game, and made the wise decision to travel to New Haven for the women's soccer game. The Yale/Duke soccer game was even better than the football game, and ranks with the most memorable college events I have ever attended. This includes the HY 29-29 tie and the Cal/Stanford last play win where the Cal player crashed thru the Stanford band to score.
