I bet you guys and gals are just excited (and anxious) as I am with all the Uni's getting ready to send out all their acceptances letters.

And It seems almost surreal, doesn't it? that after two,( or maybe more for some of us,:) years of hard work and patience, it is finally going to pay off!! You should all be extremely proud of yourselves. Still, this waiting is eating me up!
Luckily, I've got a pretty busy final semester which helps takes my mind off of it. Otherwise, I'd be constanting checking my status haha :).

Anyways, I thought it would be interesting to find out wether most of you are taking the laid route for their final semester, or if you're going out with a bang, like myself. So, post your spring 2011 schedule or experience, or what be it.

Currently I'm taking:
Calc 3
Physics 4a elec magnetism
linear Algebra
British Literature II
and Gen Psych
So, far it's not too bad. I'm currently at 19 units, but I just failed my first pysch exam so I might drop the course.

So yeah guys, post how your spring's going and lets get an average going. Moreover, I hope everyones doing well and gets into the school of their desires.

Donate to the redcross if you want to by going to American Red Cross. Remember to all pray for those in Japan; May God bless their hearts and hope guide them in their darkest hours.

Anways, thanks for everyone's time and I hope everyone is getting through this wait much better than myself.

MAT-2: Differential Equations
BIO-11: Intro to Molecular and Cell Bio
PHY-4B: Electricity and Magnetism

The bottom 2 in the Moval campus while the top one at Riverside (i just read your other post saying you went to RCC) :)

It’s really hard to concentrate especially when you’re someone who does well in school by being a bit neurotic about everything. You sort of get OCD so then you HAVE to do everything but still kill yourself about checking three times a day just so you can “prt sc” that acceptance message and post it on Facebook because in general, all of us who like to study are a bit snobby. When we meet the kid that goes to Berkeley, we all are extra nice but then when we meet someone from CSUSB, we think, “oh what a screwup”.

BTW, That acceptance reeeeeaally needs to come in already!

Differential equations <- requirement for major
Second Semester Chem <- not used for anything
American Sign Language <- IGETC requirement
Human Development <- For an AS degree

Man, I have a breezy schedule compared to you science/mathy people

Great Religions of the World
World History after 1300
Intro to Soc (I did the sequence backward, I have taken 2 soc classes already, haha)
Gen Biology for non majors

And I am still in my lazy mode. I usually do the “I can just breeze through until I have 5 weeks left and then totally pull my grades together and get As” routine.

Dang, I guess many of us have pretty busy schedules!

@ Boston. Yes, I have Dr. Sell for Brit. Lit. Are you in my class?? Its at the riverside campus on Tues and Thurs. And yes, I totally agree, she is awesome!

@Walleeats I’m taking physics at Norco with Tran on Mon, wes, and Fri. Totally regretting not taking the one at the riverside campus, because he is such an aggrogant ******bag that thinks physics is the most important thing in the world.

@ Walleats
I’m taking Linear at OCC on Tues, and Thurs because the only linear class is at the same time as my Physics class. I would have had Yao. Hes the only teacher that teaches it this semester.
And I have johnson for Calc 3 at norco. Hes pretty chill, i guess.
Who are you taking for Diffy Q?

the Funny thing is, out of all my classes, Psych is screwing me over this semster. we cover a chapter a day! I failed the first test and now I have an F to start the class. Its terrible, just terrible!

BUMMER! O’Neil is the best for actually learning the material but not having it SUPER hard either. Good luck! Make sure you do ALL the homework and not procrastinate at all on that for Johnson’s Calc 3 class. He’s a really good teacher but Calc 3 gets tricky and his homework get’s kindaaa crazy with lots and lots of problems!

I have Legner for Diff EQ and she’s alright. She’s kinda confusing but she seems like a nice person. Not that difficult of a teacher. but I have the BEST Bio teacher this semester in Moval. This guy is awesome! it’s Professor Galicia in case you know who he is.

No, I know her mostly through the honors program. Do you know if she’s a reasonable grader? Our humanities class just turned the first paper in.

Are you taking Hum 10? Because Eng 7 is for English majors, she grades hard and assigns tons of reading. shes a reasonable grader though. Pretty fair if I can say so myself. You pretty get what you put into the papers.

I applied as an English major to all colleges, but I’m minoring in mathematics.

@Indie Two Lit courses and psych?? Thats crazy! are you constantly reading and writing?

As for majors, I am still undecided. I’m reallyyyyyyy hoping I get into UCSD because they have this really cool major called “Cognitive Science” and it combines everything I really like into one major. I’m hoping to go into medicine afterwards.

English is an awesome major! I wish I was good enough to be a English major. I’m just not creative enough when it comes to writing :(

PS 10: Introduction to Political Theory (honors)
HUM 10A: Culture, Science, Society I (honors - I actually did this sequence backwards, oddly enough!)
CHEM 3: Fundamental Chemistry (w/ lab)
MATH 10: Elementary Statistics

I’m applying for CSU General Education certification at the end of the semester, so I’m pretty stoked. I’m heading off to CSUF in the fall as a history major - so excited!
