Greatest number of AP's in one year!

Just wondering, has anyone had an insane number of AP's AND done well grade/test wise?

I really want to take 4 AP's next year, including USH and Biology, but my counselor is very disapproving even though my grades this year are good

I'm just wondering if it can be done =]

There are...but if you're worried about it, you're not one of them.

Btw I took four APs junior year and didn't do too well grade-wise. It depends on the school though.

agreed. it depends on the person. there's this person at my school that is taking 7 ap's this year. but he isn't really adamant about getting 5's on all of them.

I took 6 IBs and 2 APs my senior year. Does that count? :) Yes, four APs can definitely be done.

7 IBs this yr

IB1 Chem
IB1 Bio
IB2 Physics
IB1 Math HL
IB1 History
IB1 English
IB1 German

4.0 (All As) last semester

There's a girl at my school waiting for me to have a nervous breakdown, w/ my math hl and 3 sciences....lol

^
Oddly enough, your schedule is identical to the one I had, except I had Physics C instead of Physics HL and Calculus BC instead of Math HL. I also had TOK (ew).

overachievers.

Correction: aznoverachiever

Im taking 6 APs next year

AP Stat
AP Calc AB
AP English Lang
AP Studio Art
AP US History
AP Biology

and Japanese III and orchestra in addition to that for a grand total of 8 classes.

I took four jr. year: Calc BC, Physics C Mech, Chem, and US. I slaved away for my grades, especially 2nd semester. It was hard b/c I am definitely not a math and science person and these are generally pretty hard APs. And so I got my only B (so far) last year in first semester Calc.

Definitely no where near the IB people tho. That's crazily amazing. So apparently, like 8 can be done. It depends on what you can do - maybe try it out and if it's too much drop ASAP. Like first two weeks.

I took 7 APs my senior year and 4 IBs. I did quite well on the APs (passed all with 4 fives, 2 fours, and one 3) I

The IBs didn't go quite as well, but I passed all of them too

i'm taking 4 APs this year. my advice for seniors: only take 3 APs max. it's senior year, live a little.

6 ap's in senior year:
ap english lit
ap chem
ap calc ab
ap eco
ap gov
ap stats
college accounting

I'm taking 6 IBs (full diploma) right now + TOK. Thankfully, they're all going very well.

However, I do have a friend that I think takes the prize for his junior year courseload:
In school: 7 IBs (full diploma + extra higher level)
Online: AP Calc BC, AP English Language
Through the Mail: Open University Course in Philosophy, Business

He's getting 6s/7s in all his IBs, predicted at 4/5 respectively for his APs, and getting As on his mail courses. Insane.

I'm taking 6 AP's this year... as things look, I'm not getting too many 5's...

im taking 6 next year
ap chem
ap physics b
ap spanish
ap english lit
ap euro
ap calc ab

five ibs/ 3 ap's next year
ib psych
ib spanish
ib business
ib english
ib math studies
ap euro
ap environmental
ap art history

wow! you guys are seriously amazing

If I get my schedule:

AP Spanish
AP Gov
AP Stat

Along with two college classes: Humanities Seminar and Drama or Political Science.

Add gym and you get my senior year schedule.

how is there even enough time in the school day to take eight classes?!
