Hi, I’m wondering about the level of partying that goes on at Richmond. From the website I take it that about 40% are invovled in Greek life, low compared to say W&L but still pretty darn high objectively. As somewhat of a newbie, how much partying actually goes on here? Are there “mixers” where students go wild and drink and have sex, and how often? What is partying like outside of the Greek system and is there pressure to party/drink? Are there strong communities where somebody not interested in partying would fit in? Like not just isolated nerds but groups formed around community service, academic subjects, religion, sports, etc. who would never party beyond having like a board game or movie night?
