Greek Life?

<p>I've looked at a few schools, such as Dartmouth, that I really liked at first, but then I found out they have a pretty strong greek life, which was a turn off for me. I really would like to avoid going to a school with a dominating greek scene. I'm not against sororities/fraternities completely, I just don't want it to dominate the social scene. </p>

<p>What top schools have an extremely strong greek life? And what schools do not?</p>

<p>University of Rochester has a small Greek scene and on par with many top schools.</p>

<p>Harvard - no strong Greek scene
Yale - no
Princeton - no
Dartmouth - yes
Cornell - yes
Columbia - no
Brown - no
Penn - I think yes; can someone confirm?</p>

<p>Brown has Greek life, but it definitely doesn’t dominate the social life. It’s just another option for students.</p>
