Can anyone tell me anything about Greek life at utd? How social they are, reputations of the sororities, etc? Thanks!

not in a frat, but it seems like greek life is getting bigger every year. then again, so is utd. from what i hear, all the sororities are pretty decent (sure each one has their reps). havent really heard of any hazing and stuff. sorry if that didnt really answer anything haha

Haha it’s fine! Do you know anything about alpha gamma delta? Is Greek life the stereotypical skinny girl sort of thing? Or are the sororities pretty diverse and have all sorts of people. Thanks for your help!

you really wanna party dont you?

I was an Alpha Gamma Delta at UTD for 3 years, so I know a lot about Greek Life.
Greek Life is a great way for getting involved on campus. All sororities on campus have charities that they fundraise for and volunteer with, we all have mixers with the fraternities, we all have scholarship standards that we help our members meet every semester.

And no, UTD’s Greek Life is the farthest thing from the stereotypical skinny blonde girls. All of the chapters have girls of different shapes, sizes, races, religions, majors, etc. And I know this is going to sound cheesy, but everyone that I’ve met in Greek life has been smart and genuine.

Did that answer your questions?

Also, CPC recruitment is this week, & I think you can still register.
