<p>Can somebody already at UMich give me a round about ranking of all the fraternities & sororities at UMich? I know there are sites like Greek Rank but I hear that is all self ranking...So any help or pointing me to any list would be very helpful! Thanks so much.</p>

<p>Seriously. Nothing can be more toxic to the ideas of fraternities and sororities than the idea of ranking them. That is not what they’re about. If you join greek life, it should be because of what you think of the people in the chapter you join, not what other people think of them. It doesn’t matter if its a “top frat” or one that is ignored, any rankings mean ■■■■ if you don’t see yourself there. I can’t think of anyone here in greek life or not who cares about who’s in what frat/sorority if at all, at least among seniors I know.</p>
<p>What you can consider: The reputation of frats and sororities. By this I mean what is known about them, which will allow you to consider a couple of chapters to be most interested in. But remember, let the primary influence be your own perception, not the potentially skewed perception of some random person on the internet who may or may not have a personal agenda.</p>
