Just wondering, what is the greek life like at uw?
Not at all important to the around 90% of students who do not participate. Those that do obviously must like it. The Greek houses are mainly close to campus on Langdon St, near State St east of campus.
My kid is involved in greek life – greek life participation is identified as around 10%, so a small fraction of the undergrads – for the students involved, it is a big part of their undergrad experience. For those that aren’t involved, greek life is irrelevant and really doesn’t change the feel of campus.
There is fall rush, freshman year, and there will be info about rush in the early part of the semester. Houses are up on Langdon St. Many houses will do second semester rush as well, so a student can take their time and get acclimated before deciding if greek life makes sense for them.
