D22 really likes Rhodes from what she has seen from afar. She has recently discovered, however, that sororities have a high rate of participation upward of 30 pct. She is concerned with the pressure and stress to rush and join or not. She is reserved, introverted, studious, into theater for fun and humanities-focused. Is Rhodes a good fit for her?

There is no pressure. Joining doesn’t happen until the second semester to start with so plenty of time to make friends and find out what is going on. My S’s girlfriend is in a Sorority but she certainly didn’t feel under any pressure. S is not in a fraternity. Again no pressure. He lives in a house of 4 and 2 are in and 2 aren’t. There are no Greek houses; just social spaces so there is a good chance your living areas will be very mixed with members and non-members.
I don’t think it should be a deciding factor.
Hope that helps.
